As Learning Support Assistant, you will work as part of a team of LSAs. Your role will include:

  • Support learners in class 1:1 or in small groups, working at a range of levels from entry level to L3 across all curriculum
  • Use strategies to help students with reading, writing and maths skills
  • Support students during their exams
  • Keep careful records of all LSA support provided

To fulfil the role of Learning Support Assistant you will have

  • English & Maths level 2
  • A relevant LSA qualification or willingness to take one a distinct advantage
  • Good IT, numeracy, oral and written communication skills
  • A sound understanding of the purpose of the Additional Learning Support function
