Overview
Hair Lecturer- 37 hours per week – up to £38,186.75 – dependent on skills, experience and qualifications. Based between Weybridge and Ashford, Surrey. Brooklands Technical College is a further education college supporting young people and adults to take the next steps on their career path. We are an inclusive centre for lifelong learning, equipping our learners with the professional behaviours, skills and values that they will need for their careers. Hair and Beauty offer a variety of courses for learners across Level 1 to L3, the learners range from age 14-19 through to adult education. As Hair Lecturer you will work as part of a team within the department delivering a range of high-quality courses, providing qualification and progression opportunities for all learners, within the curriculum area.
Responsibilities
- Teach on a programme of appropriate courses
- Assess, review and record learner progress
- Maintain course and learner records
- To embed employment skills into the curriculum courses
Qualifications
- Degree/HND or equivalent vocational professional qualification
- Certificate in Education or willingness to gain such qualification
- Level 2 in English and Maths
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- Assessor or Verifier qualified a distinct advantage
