We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong coding capabilities to support the development of business intelligence, reporting, and data-driven decision making. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights, building dashboards, and improving data processes across the organisation. This is a fixed term contract initially, with the possibility of a permanent role depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports
  • Collect, clean, and analyse data from multiple systems (HR, finance, operations, Epicor MRP)
  • Write and maintain code for data extraction, transformation, and automation
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decisions
  • Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and KPIs
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency
  • Automate manual reporting processes to improve efficiency
  • Support the implementation of new data systems or tools
  • Provide training and guidance to users on dashboards and reporting tools

The Candidate:

  • Strong coding skills
  • Experience with data visualisation tools
  • Strong data manipulation and analysis skills
  • Ability to work with large datasets and multiple data sources
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience building data pipelines or ETL processes
  • Knowledge of databases and data warehousing concepts
  • Understanding of data governance and GDPR principles
  • Highly organised and detail-focused
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Curious mindset with a passion for data
