Job Description:
The Cleanroom Operative is responsible for performing various tasks within a controlled cleanroom environment, ensuring that aerospace components are assembled, inspected, and packaged in accordance with strict cleanliness and quality standards. This role requires careful adherence to cleanroom protocols and procedures to prevent contamination and ensure product integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a cleanroom environment to assemble, inspect, and package aerospace components, following detailed work instructions and quality standards.
- Handle materials and components using appropriate cleanroom techniques, including the use of gloves, gowns, masks, and other protective gear.
- Perform visual inspections of components for defects, contamination, or damage, using microscopes or other magnification tools as required.
- Clean and maintain workstations, tools, and equipment to meet cleanroom cleanliness standards.
- Adhere to strict protocols for entering and exiting the cleanroom, including proper gowning procedures and airlock usage in line with FOD.
- Work with quality control and engineering teams to resolve any issues related to component cleanliness or assembly.
