We are currently looking for an experienced Goods In Operative / Driver to join our team within a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient receipt, handling, and internal delivery of goods, ensuring materials are accurately processed and distributed across the facility.
About Us
Brookhouse Aerospace produces a range of composite structures, producing monolithic and sandwich parts from a range of materials, including carbon fibre composite, glass and Aramid cured by autoclave. Brookhouse Aerospace also manufactures sheet metal fabrications and machined metal parts, fully supply kits and integrated assemblies. Specialist capabilities include a full range of surface treatments and dedicated Spares and Repairs capability.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for delivery drivers, couriers, and collection vehicles
- Safely unload incoming deliveries, ensuring goods are handled and stored correctly
- Check incoming materials against purchase orders and documentation (e.g. Certificates of Conformity)
- Accurately identify and book in goods using the company ERP system
- Transport and deliver goods to the relevant internal departments in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised goods in area in line with company standards
- Notify relevant departments of urgent or time-sensitive deliveries
- Carry out internal and occasional external driving duties as required
- Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures at all times
The Candidate:
- Holds a valid UK driving licence
- Previous experience in a Goods In or stores role within manufacturing
- Well organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers, including MS Office and ERP/MRP systems
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Strong awareness of safety and good working practices
- Reliable, practical, and able to handle physical tasks
