Active Pathways is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) to join our team at Brookhaven and The Hamptons, located in Bamber Bridge, close to Preston. This is a rewarding opportunity to work across our 14-bed male only inpatient rehabilitation and 22-bed residential (with Mental Health Nursing) mixed gender service, providing essential care and support to help individuals live as independently as possible.

About The Role:

As our Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with enduring mental health needs. You'll be responsible for supporting recovery, promoting independence and ensuring the safety and well-being of the people we support. Your duties will include creating care plans, administering medication, monitoring mental and physical health, and responding calmly and effectively to any challenges that arise. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a supportive and recovery-focused environment.

Our Ideal Nurse Will Have:

  • Essential experience in mental health or rehabilitation settings.
  • An active NMC registration.
  • Knowledge of current legislation.
  • A holistic approach to promoting recovery and independence.

Desired:

  • Experience in writing care plans and completing risk assessments.
  • Knowledge of health and safety guidelines.
  • Medication training.
