Location: Bamber Bridge, Preston
Pay: £13.45 per hour with overtime paid at £14.95 per hour
Hours: Full-Time – 38.5 Hours Per Week - 7:45pm – 7:45am shifts on a two-week rolling rota
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Active Pathways is delighted to be recruiting for a compassionate Mental Health Support Worker (Nights) at our mixed gender residential service, Brookhaven and our male only inpatient hospital, The Hamptons, in Bamber Bridge.
Brookhaven provides a safe and supportive home for males and females with enduring mental health needs, whilst The Hamptons provides a specialist therapeutic, recovery-focused in-patient care environment for men with complex mental health needs.

As a Support Worker, you will:
- Provide person-centred care in a rehabilitation setting.
- Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
- Support residents with meaningful daily activities and community engagement.
- Assist with emotional, social, and practical needs.
- Work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team to provide consistent support.
- Promote independence, self-confidence, and relapse prevention strategies.
- Encourage and support access to education, employment, and leisure opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working within a mental health or rehabilitation setting is essential.
- Confidence in building rapport with residents and the wider team.
- A strong understanding of person-centred, quality care.
- A positive, supportive approach with a focus on recovery and inclusion.
- Experience of working with a range of mental health diagnosis and challenging behaviour.
