Overview

Part-Time Day Shifts – 19.25 hours per week on average (monthly contract 77hrs)

£13.45 per hour, with overtime paid at £14.95 per hour

Location: Bamber Bridge, Preston

Hours: Part-Time – 77 Hours Per Month

7:45am – 7:45pm shifts

Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
  • Support residents with meaningful daily activities and community engagement.
  • Assist with emotional, social, and practical needs.
  • Work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team to provide consistent support.
  • Promote independence, self-confidence, and relapse prevention strategies.
  • Encourage and support access to education, employment, and leisure opportunities.

  • Experience working within a mental health or rehabilitation setting is essential.
  • Confidence in building rapport with residents and the wider team.
  • A strong understanding of person-centred, quality care.
  • A positive, supportive approach with a focus on recovery and inclusion.
  • Experience of working with a range of mental health diagnosis and challenging behaviour.

Next door, The Hamptons is a 14-bed purpose-built inpatient rehabilitation hospital supporting men with complex mental health needs in a secure, structured environment.
