Mental Health Support Worker – Brook House (Supported Living)
Clayton-le-Woods, Lancashire
Full-Time NightShifts – 38.5 Hours Per Week
Salary:£13.45 per hour. Overtime paid at £14.95 per hour
Shifts: 8am – 9pm, with1 in 2 weeks off

Brook House is a 13-bed supported living service providing person-centred support for individuals with mental health needs, learning disabilities, and/or autism. With 24-hour staffing and a passionate multi-disciplinary team, Brook House helps residents build independence and work towards recovery.

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Support individuals on their journey to recovery through person-centred care in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships with residents.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to residents.
  • Promote engagement in meaningful activities and encourage social inclusion.
  • Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and the community.
  • Promote independence and self-confidence, helping residents regain control over their lives.

Experience Required:

  • Experience within a Mental Health or Rehabilitation setting
  • Can build rapport with ease with not only the residents but the wider team
  • Understanding the importance of offering person-centered quality care
