Mental Health Support Worker (Days)

Location:Fernside House, Armley, Leeds
Hours:38.5hours per week
Salary:£13.45per hour (annual £26,926), plus overtime paid at £14.95per hour
Shift Pattern:07:45am – 07:45pm, two-week rolling rota:
Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun
Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Support individuals on their journey to recovery through person-centred care in a residential setting.
  • Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships with residents.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to residents.
  • Promote engagement in meaningful activities and encourage social inclusion.
  • Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and the community.
  • Promote independence and self-confidence, helping residents regain control over their lives.

Experience Required:

  • Experience within a Mental Health or Residental setting
  • Can build rapport with ease with not only the residents but the wider team
  • Understanding the importance of offering person-centered quality care

Active Pathways Ltd has been operating in Lancashire and Yorkshire, for over 20 years as a Mental Health and Rehabilitation provider, offering support to adults aged 18+. We are dedicated to delivering recovery-focused Mental Health Services within innovative, creative, and inspiring environments.
