Mental Health Support Worker – Days (Supported Living)

Full-Time– 36Hours Per Week
Salary:£13.45 per hour. Overtime paid at £14.95 per hour. Sleeps paid at £55 per night
Shifts:8am – 8pm, with1 in 2 weeks off

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as an integral part of the team, ensuring that the individuals we support can live as independently as possible.
Park Placeis an enhanced supported living service for adults with long-term mental health conditions stepping toward independence, providinga warm, home-likeenvironmentoften following a hospital stay or due to complex care needs.
A dedicated team is available 24/7 to support residents with both daily practical needs and longer-term goals. Support is aimed at community reintegration, typically over 18 to 24 months, so that residents are able to transition to fully independent living when ready.

As a Support Worker, you will:
- Support individuals on their journey to recovery through person-centred care in a rehabilitation setting.
- Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships with residents.
- Provide emotional and practical support to residents.
- Promote engagement in meaningful activities and encourage social inclusion.
- Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and the community.
- Promote independence and self-confidence, helping residents regain control over their lives.
Experience Required:
- Experience within a Mental Health or Rehabilitation setting
- Can build rapport with ease with not only the residents but the wider team
- Understanding the importance of offering person-centered quality care
