Mental Health Support Worker (Days)
Location: Fernside House, Armley, Leeds
Hours: 38.5 hours per week
Salary: £13.45 per hour + £14.95 overtime
Shift Pattern: 07:45am - 07:45pm, two-week rolling rota
- Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun
- Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri

Fernside House will provide a safe and supportive home for men with enduring mental health needs, and we’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to person-centred, recovery-focused care.

As a Support Worker, you will:
- Support individuals on their journey to recovery through person-centred care in a residential setting.
- Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships with residents.
- Provide emotional and practical support to residents.
- Promote engagement in meaningful activities and encourage social inclusion.
- Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and the community.
- Promote independence and self-confidence, helping residents regain control over their lives.
Experience Required:
- Experience within a Mental Health or Residential setting.
- Can build rapport with ease with not only the residents but the wider team.
- Understanding the importance of offering person-centered quality care.
