The predicted salary is between 15 - 15 £ per hour.

Location: Heathy House, Halifax

Hours: 39.37 hours per week

Salary: £15.00 per hour + £16.50 overtime + On-Call paid £35 pw

Shift Pattern: 7:30am - 7:45pm, two-week rolling rota

  • Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun
  • Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri

Active Pathways is delighted to be recruiting for a compassionate Senior Mental Health Support Worker to join our mental health residential service, Heathy House, in Halifax. Heathy House provides a safe and supportive home for men with enduring mental health needs, and we’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to person-centred, recovery-focused care.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing consistent, high-quality care while also supporting and guiding colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and supervise Recovery Support Workers in assisting residents with daily living tasks to promote independence.
  • Provide personal care and ensure high-quality care delivery in line with evidence-based practices.
  • Act as a role model and take responsibility for the unit in the absence of management.
  • Mentor new staff and participate in ongoing staff development through supervision and training.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the well-being of service users is at the forefront of care.
  • Facilitate recovery-focused activities and support residents in achieving their personal goals.
  • Handle medication and maintain accurate care records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
