Role Purpose: The Manager is responsible for overseeing the monthly financial reporting and day‑to‑day finance operations for a variety of different entities. Uphold the fundamentals of providing timely, accurate and relevant financial information to internal stakeholders. Become a key finance team member who is integrally involved in all aspects of the group’s reporting, supporting other accounting initiatives within the European Corporate Finance Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with operating platforms to prepare and review consolidated financial statements and financial reporting deliverables on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Responsible for the accounting and reporting requirements of a variety of entity types (holding companies, service companies, JV’s, etc.) under IFRS.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate review and posting of month‑end close and accounting transactions for group reporting to a tight deadline.
  • Review of P&L and Balance Sheet analysis including resolution of queries.
  • Review of annual financial statements and management of external audit process.
  • Prepare and review of technical accounting memos under IFRS.
  • Review of VAT returns and other compliance returns and assist in complying with SOX requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budget and provide variance analysis to actuals monthly for management review.
  • Support FP&A, Tax, Legal, Accounts Payable and other functions as needed.
  • Identification of process gaps and implementation of improvements to streamline processes and contribute as part of the European Corporate Finance Team to achieving the team’s goals and objectives.
  • Actively develop and maintain trusted relationships internally and externally.
  • Other ad‑hoc or financial reporting requirements that may arise.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified (3–5 years PQE).
  • Achieved 2.1 in any degree discipline.
  • Highly competent in technical accounting (IFRS) and the ability to make determinations on such matters.
  • Experience in a SOX environment is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly IFS, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and/or OneStream would be an advantage.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and a positive approach to problem solving.
  • Strong organisational and analytical capabilities with attention to detail, good time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communicator, building meaningful relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
