Job Responsibilities

1. Pricing new BPA deals, reviewing benefit specifications, recommending assumptions, and analyzing results.
2. Identifying non-standard pricing features and recommending appropriate methodologies.
3. Preparing RFQ responses and structuring bespoke solutions for schemes.
4. Leading contract negotiations with support from senior teams.
5. Preparing pricing packs and presenting to senior management for approval.
6. Engaging with risk functions to support deal approval.
7. Liaising with EBCs and Independent Trustees on pipeline and deals.
8. Attending pitches as needed.

Minimum Requirements

1. Qualified actuary with 9-15 years of experience.
2. At least 1 year of experience in pricing or deal structuring UK BPA deals.
3. Insurance sector experience, with knowledge of UK pensions and bulk annuities.
4. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
5. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
6. High professional standards, integrity, and relationship management skills.
7. Teamwork and strong communication skills.
