Brookfield is hiring for an Associate within its Infrastructure AI Fund (BAIIF), based in London. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing team focused on deploying capital across the AI infrastructure value chain. The successful candidate will contribute to deal execution, due diligence, and asset management, working closely with senior leaders to scale Brookfield’s presence in this transformative sector.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee detailed financial models and return analyses to evaluate potential investments across AI infrastructure sectors (e.g., data centres, compute hardware, power, and connectivity).
- Lead or support due diligence processes, including financial, operational, legal, and tax workstreams, ensuring alignment with the investment thesis and business case.
- Prepare and present investment committee materials, bid letters, and transaction documentation with increasing ownership at senior levels.
- Contribute to or lead idea generation for transactions and deal structures, including identifying value creation strategies and market entry points.
- Assist in implementing business development and transaction strategies, including networking and relationship-building to uncover new opportunities.
- Partner with operating teams across Brookfield’s infrastructure and transition platforms to support due diligence and post-investment asset management.
- Coordinate with internal legal, tax, and structuring teams to ensure transaction execution aligns with strategic and financial objectives.
- Foster a collaborative, dynamic, and team-oriented culture that supports personal development, mentorship, and skill-building.
- Conduct deep industry and market research to inform investment strategies and identify emerging trends in AI infrastructure.
