A Mechanical Project Engineer is required for our client, one of the UK’s largest M&E Contractors. They are currently working on a super prime hotel in Mayfair, London, with a project value around £85m M&E. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Project Engineer who would like to join a large company that works with the biggest companies in construction and offers in-depth training and development. In the role, there is development to work towards being a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer, Mechanical Project Manager, and Contracts Manager.
Duties for the Mechanical Project Engineer position include:
- Led project scheduling and budgeting to successfully complete projects within targets.
- Analysed problems and provided solutions.
- Reviewed drawings and gave input.
- Revised design.
- Assisted the Mechanical Project Manager.
- Calculated budgets and timelines.
- Met compliance regulations.
- Collaborated with the engineering team to complete projects.
- Quality assurances.
- Programming and commissioning with other contractors.
These responsibilities also include:
- Sub-subcontractor management.
- Resolving technical issues promptly, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Attending supply chain meetings.
- Preparing and reviewing risk assessments, method statements, and monitoring health and safety onsite.
- Conducting quality assurance checks and maintaining up-to-date records.
