Mechanical Manager

A Mechanical Manager is required for a large M&E contractor. Our client has won a new commercial project based in Cambridge. This is a 24 month mechanical fit out project and we are looking for a Mechanical Site Manager to start asap.

Our client is paying £300 – £325 pd\\n\\n * Sub Contractor Management\\n\\n * LTHW, CHW, CCHW,, pipe fitting, pumps, valves, FCU’s, Ventilation, Ductwork, toilets, sinks, taps, radiators and all associated mechanical duties\\n\\n * Know the process of the handover of apartments including HIUs – MVHRs – first fix plumbing and finals.\\n\\n * Quality control\\n\\n * Heath and Safety\\n\\n * Ordering of materials on site\\n\\n * Computer Literate use of Word, Excel and other programmes\\n\\n * Read Programmes\\n\\n * Giving toolbox talks\\n\\n * Managing different mechanical trades\\n\\n * Client progression meetings\\n\\n * Completing daily reports for clients\\n\\n * Producing method statements and risk assessments\\n\\n * Liaising with main contractor/client/sub-contractors.\\n\\n * Ensuring health and safety regulations are always met.\\n\\n * Weekly toolbox talks\\n\\n * Time management of contractors/tasks.\\n\\n * Completing paperwork relevant for key stages of projects.\\n\\n * Ordering/inventory of materials.\\n\\n * Attending meetings with other trades/builder to ensure smooth collaborations and that expectations/time deadlines are met.\\n\\nIf the Mechanical Site Manager position is of interest, please apply or contract Brookfield M&E to discuss in more detail
