A Mechanical Manager is required for a large M&E contractor. Our client has won a new commercial project based in Cambridge. This is a 24 month mechanical fit out project and we are looking for a Mechanical Site Manager to start asap. Our client is paying £300 – £325 pd * Sub Contractor Management * LTHW, CHW, CCHW,, pipe fitting, pumps, valves, FCU’s, Ventilation, Ductwork, toilets, sinks, taps, radiators and all associated mechanical duties * Know the process of the handover of apartments including HIUs – MVHRs – first fix plumbing and finals. * Quality control * Heath and Safety * Ordering of materials on site * Computer Literate use of Word, Excel and other programmes * Read Programmes * Giving toolbox talks * Managing different mechanical trades * Client progression meetings * Completing daily reports for clients * Producing method statements and risk assessments * Liaising with main contractor/client/sub-contractors. * Ensuring health and safety regulations are always met. * Weekly toolbox talks * Time management of contractors/tasks. * Completing paperwork relevant for key stages of projects. * Ordering/inventory of materials. * Attending meetings with other trades/builder to ensure smooth collaborations and that expectations/time deadlines are met.
