A Mechanical Project Engineer is required for our client, one of the UK’s largest M&E Contractors. They are currently working on a super prime hotel project in Mayfair, London, with a value around £85m M&E. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Project Engineer who would like to join a large company that works with the biggest names in construction and offers in-depth training and development.

In the role, there is development towards becoming a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer, Mechanical Project Manager, or Contracts Manager.

Duties for the Mechanical Project Engineer position include:

  • Led project scheduling and budgeting to successfully complete projects within targets
  • Analysed problems and provided solutions
  • Reviewed drawings and provided input
  • Revised design
  • Assisted the Mechanical Project Manager
  • Calculated budgets and timelines
  • Met compliance regulations
  • Collaborated with the engineering team to complete projects
  • Quality assurance
  • Programming and commissioning with other contractors
  • Sub-subcontractor management
  • Resolved technical issues promptly, ensuring smooth project execution
  • Attended supply chain meetings
  • Prepared and reviewed risk assessments, method statements, and monitored health and safety onsite
  • Conducted quality assurance checks and maintained up-to-date records
