A M&E Quantity Surveyir is required for a Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering innovative, high-quality building services solutions across the UK.
Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, we are looking for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial Team in Bristol

The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of Mechanical & Electrical projects from pre-construction through to final account.
Working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Managers and site teams, you will ensure projects are delivered successfully while maintaining commercial control and maximising profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial performance of multiple M&E projects.
- Prepare and submit monthly valuations and applications for payment.
- Control project costs and produce accurate cost reports.
- Manage variations, change orders and contractual notices.
- Carry out job costing reviews and assist with final accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Review contract documentation and identify commercial risks.
- Ensure timely receipt of payments in accordance with contract conditions.
- Produce commercial reports and project documentation.
- Support continuous improvement of commercial processes.
- What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working for an M&E contractor or within building services is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of cost management, valuations and variations.
- Knowledge of JCT contracts is advantageous.
- Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
