A Mechanical Project Manager is required for a family run contractor based in Central London. The Mechanical Contractor has been trading for 15+ years and has a turnover of £15m. Their main scope of works is commercial CAT A/ CAT B fit out projects throughout London, which can range in values from £500k - £5m. We are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager who has managed commercial projects previously and can hit the ground running.

Responsibilities:

  • Working directly with the design consultant
  • Ensuring the design was co-ordinated
  • Implementing health & safety policies and procedures of the company
  • Managing and motivating a team
  • Meeting (Progress, Commercial and Design)
  • Negotiating with Suppliers
  • Procurement and Technical review
  • Running Commercial and Healthcare Projects
  • Managing Specialist Subcontractors and Labour Costs
  • Submitting weekly progress reports
  • Working on projects from inception to completion
  • Planning programmes ensuring achievable targets are agreed with clients and site teams
  • Working alongside the commercial team
