A Mechanical Project Manager is required for a family run contractor based in Central London. The Mechanical Contractor has been trading for 15+ years and has a turnover of £15m. Their main scope of works is commercial CAT A/ CAT B fit out projects throughout London, which can range in values from £500k - £5m. We are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager who has managed commercial projects previously and can hit the ground running.
Responsibilities:
- Working directly with the design consultant
- Ensuring the design was co-ordinated
- Implementing health & safety policies and procedures of the company
- Managing and motivating a team
- Meeting (Progress, Commercial and Design)
- Negotiating with Suppliers
- Procurement and Technical review
- Running Commercial and Healthcare Projects
- Managing Specialist Subcontractors and Labour Costs
- Submitting weekly progress reports
- Working on projects from inception to completion
- Planning programmes ensuring achievable targets are agreed with clients and site teams
- Working alongside the commercial team
