Contract Supervisor in London

Overview

In this role you will provide technical planned and reactive support to engineering teams to ensure operational and compliance standards are met. You will oversee HV/LV and MEP strategies while developing and implementing company IT systems. The position includes site mobilisation and acting as a support function for project tasks and wider professional services. You will lead staffing and deliver risk-managed operations across sites, driving consistency and compliance. This is an opportunity to shape safety and engineering governance within BGIS.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical supervision to ensure all technical services commitments are met
• Oversee HV/LV activities to maintain full compliance with BGIS HV/LV rules
• Ensure statutory & Code compliance for sites through local management and specialists
• Deliver consistent risk management across operations and site teams
• Develop staff competencies and action plans for team development
• Provide technical support to local teams and ensure staffing structures across sites
• Investigate RCAs on major operational incidents and participate in operational meetings
• Promote BGIS management systems and processes across contracts for consistency
• Attend site meetings and communicate contractual concerns to management
• Design, develop and implement business-leading concepts
• Support with quotes, purchase orders, invoices and budgeting
• Report to Operations Manager and manage shift teams and rosters
• Participate in site mobilisation and support functions for project tasks
