Role Overview
We are seeking a Benefits Analyst to support the design, administration, analysis, and ongoing improvement of employee benefits across the UK and Europe. This role will partner closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, HR Operations, and external benefits providers to ensure benefits programs are delivered accurately, efficiently, competitively, and in compliance with local requirements. The ideal candidate is highly analytical and detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and an interest in employee benefits and international HR practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day administration of UK and European benefits programs, including health, pension, retirement, insurance, wellbeing, and other employee offerings.
- Partner with local HR teams and benefits providers to resolve employee inquiries and ensure accurate and timely delivery of benefits.
- Maintain benefits data, eligibility records, enrollments, and vendor information, ensuring data quality and confidentiality.
- Support annual benefits renewals, open enrollment, communications, and implementation of program changes across multiple countries.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports and analyses on benefits participation, costs, trends, and utilization to support decision-making.
- Assist with benefits reconciliation and invoice review, working with Payroll and Finance to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Research market practices and support benchmarking of benefits programs across the UK and Europe.
- Support the benefits team in monitoring legislative and regulatory developments across the UK and Europe, working with advisers and local partners as appropriate.
- Support benefits projects, including process improvements, vendor implementations, audits, and broader Total Rewards initiatives.
- Support benefits administration systems, including testing configuration changes, validating benefit events, troubleshooting issues, and supporting annual enrollment activities.
- Prepare clear employee communications, presentations, and materials explaining benefits programs and changes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in benefits, HR operations, compensation & benefits, or a related analytical role.
- Experience supporting benefits in the UK; exposure to benefits in one or more European markets would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills, with the ability to work confidently with large datasets and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across countries and functions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential employee and compensation information.
- Experience working with HRIS, payroll, or benefits administration systems is an advantage.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means benefits programs are administered consistently and in compliance with local requirements; employee questions are resolved efficiently, reporting and data are reliable, and renewals, communication and other UK and European benefits initiatives are delivered effectively in partnership with internal stakeholders and external providers. Over time, the successful candidate will develop strong knowledge of our benefit programs and become a trusted operational and analytical partner to the wider Benefits and HR teams.
