We are currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join a well-established nursing home in Handsworth Wood, Birmingham. The home provides nursing and dementia care for older people in a warm, person-centred environment, with a strong focus on dignity, comfort, companionship and individual wellbeing.
Role details:
- Based in Handsworth Wood, Birmingham
- £21.22 per hour
- 36 hours per week
- Permanent position

Duties will include:
- Delivering high standards of nursing care
- Supporting residents with nursing and dementia care needs
- Administering medication safely
- Completing care plans and risk assessments
- Monitoring residents’ health and wellbeing
- Liaising with GPs, families and external professionals
- Supporting care staff and leading by example on shift
- Promoting dignity, independence, choice and person-centred care
- Maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring care is delivered in line with professional standards
Candidate requirements:
- Valid NMC PIN
- RGN, RMN or RNLD considered
- Previous nursing home experience preferred
- Dementia care experience would be advantageous
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Caring, reliable and professional approach
- Able to work as part of a team
- Must have the right to work in the UK
