About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly team at our well-established residential care home in West Bromwich. Our service supports over 30 residents aged 60, providing high-quality residential care for older people, including those living with dementia. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key leadership role on shift, ensuring residents receive safe, person-centred care while supporting and guiding care staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality personal and dementia care
- Act as a senior presence on shift, supporting and mentoring care staff
- Assist with care plans, risk assessments, and daily documentation
- Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing for all residents
- Liaise effectively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Care Assistant
- Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
