Hours: 37.5 hours per week.

Shift Pattern: Day shifts, including every other weekend.
About the Role
The home supports up to 22 residents with a range of needs including dementia, learning disabilities and mental health conditions. Residents range in age from their 40s through to older adults, and this is a varied and rewarding role within a supportive care environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the day‑to‑day running of shifts and help ensure residents receive safe, person‑centred care.
- Lead and support care staff on shift.
- Administer medication safely and accurately.
- Support residents with personal care and daily living needs.
- Complete care records and documentation.
- Support residents with dementia, learning disabilities and mental health needs.
- Report any changes in residents' needs or wellbeing.
- Liaise with senior staff, families and healthcare professionals where required.
- Promote dignity, independence and choice.
- Help maintain a warm, safe and friendly home environment.
Requirements
- Previous care experience within a care home or residential setting.
- Experience as a Senior Carer, Team Leader or experienced Care Assistant.
- Confidence administering medication.
- Ability to lead and support a team on shift.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- A caring, reliable and professional approach.
- Flexibility to work every other weekend.
- The right to work in the UK.
