We are currently working with a beautiful Care Home based in Alvechurch that caters to those aged 65 and over and they are hiring for a Senior Carer on a 20hr per week Contract.
As a senior Support Worker, you will take on a key role in ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered every day. You will support both residents and the team, leading by example, assisting with electronic care-planning systems, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing hands-on support to residents, promoting independence and wellbeing
- Leading and mentoring a team of support workers on shift
- Supporting with care planning, record-keeping, and quality assurance
- Liaising with families, professionals, and other stakeholders
About You
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Minimum of 6 months experience
- Skilled with electronic care-planning systems (like Electrovis or similar)
- Flexible to work weekdays (£13.40 per hour), weekends (£13.60 per hour), day shifts (occasional night cover if someone is ill or on annual leave)
