Brookes HC Recruitment Ltd is recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants to work with established healthcare services. PRICE TRAINING IS ESSENTIAL – PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU ARE CURRENTLY PRICE TRAINED.

We are looking for experienced, reliable and confident Healthcare Assistants who have experience supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours that may challenge.

Essential Requirements

  • Hold current and valid PRICE training
  • Have previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker
  • Have experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviours and/or complex needs
  • Be confident using appropriate de-escalation techniques
  • Understand safeguarding, dignity and person-centred care
  • Be able to follow care plans and risk assessments
  • Have good communication and record-keeping skills
  • Be reliable, professional and committed to providing high-quality care
  • Be able to provide the required documents, references and compliance information

The Role

  • Supporting residents with daily living activities
  • Providing personal care where required
  • Supporting individuals with complex needs
  • Managing challenging situations safely and professionally
  • Using PRICE techniques when appropriate and in accordance with training and care plans
  • Following individual risk assessments and support plans
  • Maintaining accurate care records
  • Promoting dignity, independence, choice and respect
  • Reporting safeguarding or wellbeing concerns appropriately
  • Working alongside permanent care teams
