The Brookes Recruitment Group is recruiting Support Workers for three closely located supported-living services in Camborne. The services support adults with learning disabilities, mental ill-health and complex needs. The focus is on helping each person maintain or develop their independence while receiving support tailored to their individual needs.
As a Support Worker, you will help individuals lead fulfilling and independent lives. Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing respectful, person-centred support
- Assisting with personal care where required
- Supporting people with everyday tasks and routines
- Helping individuals access activities and the local community
- Encouraging independence, choice and confidence
- Supporting people with appointments, education or employment
- Completing accurate records and contributing to effective handovers
- Maintaining dignity, safety and wellbeing at all times
