As part of our expansion plans throughout the Midlands and beyond, we are looking for an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager to help us grow our client base and establish new partnerships.

The Role

This is a pure business development role. Your sole focus will be identifying, approaching, and securing new clients. Once a client is onboarded, our experienced recruitment and operations team will manage the day-to-day staffing, bookings, compliance, and account management. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, opening doors, building relationships, and winning new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target new healthcare providers requiring temporary and permanent staffing solutions.
  • Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, email campaigns, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers including Service Managers, Registered Managers, Operations Directors, and Procurement Teams.
  • Attend networking events and industry meetings.
  • Present Brookes HC Recruitment's services to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate terms and secure new supply agreements.
  • Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure successful client onboarding.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and provide regular sales updates.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or client acquisition.
  • Experience within healthcare recruitment, healthcare services, staffing, or a related sector is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and generating new business opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own diary.
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
