The Brookes Recruitment Group is recruiting a compassionate and reliable Support Worker for a specialist residential care service near Alfreton. The service supports adults living with physical disabilities, complex physical needs and long-term neurological conditions. The role
As a Support Worker, you will help the people using the service live safe, meaningful and fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing respectful and person-centred support
- Assisting with personal care where required
- Supporting individuals with daily routines and activities
- Encouraging independence, confidence and personal choice
- Helping people access the community and take part in activities
- Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any concerns
- Completing accurate care records and shift handovers
- Working closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals
- Following safeguarding, health and safety and medication procedures
- Supporting individuals with dignity, patience and compassion
About you
