Property Litigation Solicitor (2-5 PQE), possible re-train from Civil Litigation. Top 60 UK law firm is seeking a Litigation Solicitor with 2-5 years' post-qualification experience to focus on property matters, but they may well re-train someone from a more general Civil background. To work closely with a partner who is particularly entrenched with leisure and licensed sector clients who have substantial property portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of landlord and tenant matters, including 1954 Act renewals, possession actions, forfeitures, and dilapidations.
- Deliver ongoing, process-driven litigation for commercial property clients.
- Bundle preparation and document management.
- Advise clients on pragmatic solutions and efficient case handling.
Requirements
- 2-5 years PQE in Litigation, good knowledge of the CPR.
- Experience in landlord and tenant disputes would be ideal, but general litigation experience is an appropriate base if the candidate has sufficient interest in moving into property disputes work.
- Familiarity with the Pub Code 2016 is desirable but not essential as you'd pick this up.
- Tech-savvy, well-organized, and able to work independently once you've found your feet with the subject matter.
- Strong interpersonal skills, confidence, and with a pragmatic problem-solving approach.
- Enthusiasm to learn a new focus of work, and quick to pick up new knowledge and to act on instruction.
