About the role
As a Regulated Senior Bridging Underwriter with our company, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and determining the feasibility of loan applications.
- Underwriting and assessing loan documentation, including valuation reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance with lending policies and regulations.
- Conducting comprehensive checks on applicants and properties to assess their suitability for the applied loan, identifying any concerns or discrepancies.
- Proactively communicating with brokers and other stakeholders to obtain additional information as needed and provide timely updates on application status.
- Collaborating with introducers, valuers, and solicitors to facilitate the smooth progression of loan applications and address any issues or inquiries.
- Providing support and guidance to colleagues on matters related to underwriting and mortgage completion, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
- Managing decisions on inquiries and new applications within agreed-upon time frames, prioritizing responsiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Contributing to the continual improvement of the company's lending proposition by identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementing innovative solutions
