Company: Brooke Gordon Solicitors is a boutique law firm based in central Manchester handling all matters with exceptional client care, enthusiasm and commitment.
Role: The full-time role is based in Manchester with the flexibility for some remote work post-probation. The Paralegal will be responsible for administrative tasks, legal document preparation, communication with clients and stakeholders, conducting legal research, and document review.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Excellent client care skills;
- Law and legal document preparation skills;
- Strong communication skills with telephone experience;
- The ability to proactively manage your time and work load;
- A willingness to learn and work to deadlines;
- The ability to manage in a busy and fast paced working environment;
- Research and document review skills;
- A high attention to detail and organisational skills;
- Using initiative to contribute to workload;
- The ability to work both independently and in a team;
- Experience in Microsoft Office and the use of a case management system;
- Previous experience in a legal setting is preferred, however previous experience in financial mis-selling is not essential as full training will be provided;
- Paralegal certification or relevant degree/qualification.
Responsibilities:
- Handle in and out bound correspondence and telephone calls;
- Administrative tasks such as dealing with post, collating and preparing client and stakeholder documentation, preparing documentation;
- Drafting correspondence;
- Reviewing the prospects of each matter and acting in the best interest of the clients;
- Being aware of any risks and highlighting potential issues to management;
- Adhere to Data Protection and client confidentiality.
