As Purchase Ledger / Finance Assistant you'll be responsible for
- Managing the purchase ledger, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Supporting credit control activities, monitoring outstanding debt and liaising with clients to ensure prompt payment.
- Assisting with day-to-day finance administration, including reconciliations, payment runs, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Processing employee expenses and supporting month-end finance activities.
- Maintaining supplier and customer accounts, resolving invoice queries, and building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the onboarding of new starters, including setting up finance records and coordinating payroll and system administration.
- Maintaining finance systems and ensuring data remains accurate, compliant, and up to date.
- Supporting continuous improvement of finance processes and providing administrative support to the wider Finance Team.
