Purpose of the role
We are looking for a part-time receptionist to join our busy clinic. If you\’re confident handling calls, booking appointments, and creating a welcoming environment for patients, we’d love to hear from you.
To provide reception, referral, and information to clients in a flexible, respectful and non-judgemental manner, including referring to others, and answering queries; keeping up-to-date records and files; using IT systems and word-processing as appropriate.
Essential criteria
- Previous receptionist or administrative experience
- Experience of electronic patient booking and record systems, (Idox Lilie or similar)
- Experience of telephone work, for example managing and directing incoming calls and supporting clients over the phone

About the role
- Hours: Part-Time 18.75 Hours per week
- Contract: Fixed contract (up to 31/03/2026)
- Location: Brook Southend-on-Sea
- Salary: £24,570 per annum pro rata
- Closing date: 12/10/2025
Upon completing your probationary period, you will be eligible to join the 4 Day Week program, which allows you to work 20% fewer hours without a decrease in salary
