Purpose of the role: To deliver a range of dynamic and engaging education and wellbeing interventions to young people, adults and professionals on a wide range of topics including sexual health, reproductive health, relationships and wellbeing. This is an outreach role, requiring frequent travel to a range of education and community venues to deliver face-to-face and digital whole-class sessions, small group sessions and 1:1 programmes to young people, service users, parents/carers and the wider young people's workforce.

Essential criteria:

  • Experience of working with diverse, underserved, vulnerable, or at-risk communities who may not access mainstream services.
  • Experience of delivering health promotion, outreach, education, or training activities, ideally within HIV prevention, sexual health, or public health services, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A good understanding of HIV prevention and sexual health.
  • Ability to travel across Barnet to deliver community-based outreach activities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity, and confidentiality.

About the role:

  • Hours: Part-Time 30 Hours per week
  • Contract: Fixed contract – 2027-06-30
  • Location: The Education team is based at Brook's Education Office in King's Cross, London. However, this is a community outreach role and the successful candidate will primarily deliver services across the London Borough of Barnet in a range of community, education, and partner organisation settings.
  • Salary: £28,860 FTE
  • Closing date: 2nd July 2026

(Upon completing your probationary period, you will be eligible to join the 4 Day Week program, which allows you to work 20% fewer hours without a decrease in salary.)
