We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic experienced sexual and reproductive health nurse to join our team at Brook Sefton. We would like an individual with excellent communication skills who enjoys working as part of a team. You will work as part of the Contraception and Sexual Health team, providing care to patients requiring testing, treatment and prevention of sexually transmitted infections and/or requiring contraception. Brook Sefton offers clinics during the day (Monday to Saturday) and in the evenings (latest clinic finishes at 19:30). There is an expectation that the successful candidate will work across these sessions on a rota basis.
Essential Criteria
- Current Nurse and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration as a Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife
- Recognised qualification in Contraception and Sexual Health
- Significant experience working in a contraception and sexual health service
- Sexually Transmitted Infections Foundation (STIF) Course (or willingness to complete within 12 months of commencing post)
- College of Reproductive Sexual Healthcare (FSRH) Letter of Competence or equivalent in sub‑dermal contraceptive implants (or willingness to complete within 12 months of commencing post)
Position Details
- Hours: Part‑time 30 hours per week (upon successful completion of the probationary period, eligible for the 4‑Day‑Week programme, which allows you to work 20% fewer hours without a decrease in salary)

- Salary: £37,373 per annum pro rata
