Brook is looking for a dynamic Communications & Campaigns Manager to lead impactful, multi-channel communications that improve sexual health and wellbeing outcomes for young people and diverse communities. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Communications and Digital, you’ll manage a small team and drive health promotion campaigns that challenge taboos and empower people to take control of their sexual health. You’ll also lead the development of compelling content that amplifies the impact of Brook’s work and builds support for our mission with funders and supporters.
Essential criteria
- At least 3 years’ experience working in the field of communications and demonstration of practical knowledge of a broad range of communications activities – including media, publications, marketing, social media and events.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering multi-channel campaigns that speak to a wide variety of audiences in either a health promotion, advocacy or fundraising context.
- Experience of managing both organic and paid social media channels.
- Experience of charity fundraising campaigns and planning events.
- Line management experience of a team.
- Outstanding written and verbal skills with the ability to quickly create a positive impression.
- Educated to degree level or demonstrable equivalent capability.
- Awareness of issues affecting people in the area of sexual health, gender identification and personal relationships.
About the role
- Hours: Full-Time 37.5 Hours per week
- Contract: Permanent
- Location: London, Liverpool or Bristol
- Salary: £40,000

(Upon completing your probationary period, you will be eligible to join the 4 Day Week program, which allows you to work 20% fewer hours without a decrease in salary)
