We are looking for a nurse with an interest in developing their contraception and sexual health skills. The role requires working in a dynamic team in Truro and the surrounding county of Cornwall, and being self‑motivated to develop specialist skills to provide sexual health and contraceptive care.

Responsibilities

  • Work effectively as part of a clinical team to deliver high‑quality services to clients, providing contraception and sexual health services to young people in line with excellent clinical practice.
  • Undertake practical training and theoretical study (from a Brook‑approved course provider) to become a CASH Health Nurse upon completion of the programme.

Essential Criteria

  • Vaginal examination skills
  • Cervical screening skills
  • UK driver’s licence and access to a car
  • Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Sub part 1 of the NMC register)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Proof of right to work in the UK

  • Hours – Part‑time 15 hours per week (may consider more for the right candidate)
  • Contract – Permanent
  • Location – Brook, Cornwall
  • Salary – £30,000 per annum pro rata
