Purpose of the role

The Clinical Governance Manager is responsible for providing high‑quality administrative leadership and coordination of clinical governance, quality assurance and regulatory compliance across Brook's clinical services. Working closely with the Assistant Director of Nursing and senior leaders, the postholder will support the effective operation of governance systems including clinical policies, audits, incidents, complaints, patient feedback, learning and development compliance, and external regulatory requirements. This is a non‑clinical role with a strong emphasis on assurance, reporting and analysis within a charitable healthcare setting. The postholder will play a key role in producing governance reports and presentations and will work closely with Brook's Data and Insight team to analyse and interpret quality and performance information, including the use of Power BI dashboards, to support organisational assurance, continuous improvement and informed decision‑making.

Essential criteria

  • Experience in clinical governance, quality, compliance or healthcare administration
  • Experience supporting CQC or other regulatory processes
  • Experience coordinating audits, incidents, complaints and quality improvement
  • Experience producing reports for senior leadership and governance committees
  • Experience working with performance data and insight teams
