Job Role: Catering Assistant
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00am - 3:00pm (20 hours per week)
Pay Rate: Β£12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary assignment until at least December
Location: Wrexham (LL13)

We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant on behalf of our client to join their team on a temporary basis until at least December. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, customer-focused environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of food presentation and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing sandwiches and light food items
  • Replenishing fruit stations and salad bars throughout the day
  • Serving customers and processing purchases through the till
  • Monitoring food temperatures and completing food safety records
  • Ensuring food display areas remain clean, stocked and presentable
  • Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times
  • Assisting with general catering duties as required

Requirements:

  • A valid Food Hygiene Certificate is essential
  • Previous experience within a catering, hospitality or food service environment is desirable
  • Good attention to detail, particularly when completing food safety paperwork
  • Friendly and professional customer service skills
  • Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
