We're looking for a caring and dedicated
Family Support Worker to support parents and their children within a residential family assessment setting.
Key Duties
- Support parents with meeting their child's care needs.
- Observe and record family interactions and parenting skills.
- Complete accurate reports and daily records.
- Monitor families through direct supervision and CCTV.
- Promote safeguarding and child welfare at all times.
- Work alongside Social Workers and other professionals.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
What We're Looking For
Experience working with children, families, or vulnerable people
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Strong communication and report-writing skills
Ability to work independently during waking nights
Full UK Driving Licence
- Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent
- Experience in family support, residential childcare, or social care
- Knowledge of parenting assessments and trauma-informed practice
