About the Role
As a Technical Coordinator, you will report to the Technical Manager and play a vital role in:
- Supporting Project Delivery: Assist in managing and ensuring the effective delivery of residential developments from a technical perspective.
- Effective Communication: Lead meetings and present information to clients, senior leaders, and various stakeholders across the organisation.
- Project Management: Facilitate the timely progression of mixed tenure residential projects from pre-start to physical site commencement, while providing support during the build phase.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Document Control: Process design information and maintain document control systems.
- Design Coordination: Assist in managing the design team and specialist subcontractors effectively.
- Interface Management: Process manage design interfaces between different project packages.
- Technical Evaluation: Evaluate scheme proposals to ensure compliance with planning and building control requirements.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in new builds within both private sale and social housing markets.
- Knowledge of Planning and Building Regulations, current standards, and legislation.
- Strong skills in coordinating information distribution with a proven ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- CAD drawing capability is desirable but not essential.
