Are you an experienced Senior Support Worker ready for your next step?
We are recruiting for a Team Leader to join a children's residential care provider with homes across Birmingham. You will support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in delivering high-quality care and positive outcomes for children and young people.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home.
- Provide a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for children and young people.
- Support education, independence and emotional wellbeing.
- Ensure care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures are followed.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Support and guide Residential Support Workers.
- Attend reviews, meetings and multi-agency discussions.
- Promote positive outcomes and high standards of care.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care, Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year's experience in a Senior role within a Children's Residential Home.
- Strong safeguarding knowledge.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Flexibility to work across homes in Yardley Wood, Kings Heath, Moseley and Oldbury.
