Competition Delivery Executive (EO)

Location: Swindon (Polaris House, SN2 1FL)
Working Days / Hours: 37 hours a week
Working Pattern: 2 days in office rest from home
Pay Rate: £15.55

Our Client is hiring for a reputed client to support the end-to-end delivery of competition administration, from application assessment through to project set-up.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Proactively manage your workload to support assessment activities and assessor invoice processing
  • Verify bank account information and help ensure payments move promptly and correctly
  • Create and issue grant award letters, using details gathered during project set-up
  • Monitor award project set-up activities for grant recipients, chasing outstanding information where needed
  • Provide first-line support to internal and external stakeholders on the competition assessment process
  • Support competition assessment and interview panels, helping resolve allocation issues to avoid deadline breaches
  • Investigate the weekly payment run report and liaise with relevant teams to rectify issues
  • Support first-line queries via email and team channels, including managing requests through dedicated systems
  • Continuously look for improvements to streamline processes and workflows
  • Maintain clear, accurate records and produce competition-related reports and minutes when required

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, customer service-orientated environment
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including clear, concise emails and documents
  • Good IT skills and confidence working with systems and databases for efficient data management
  • Analytical and problem-solving capability-able to quickly understand new issues and act
  • Calm, impartial judgement when situations get complex
  • A collaborative approach, with confidence working with multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines
