Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm (some flexibility required)

£12.36ph, rising to £13.25ph at week 12

Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and a confident communicator? We are recruiting an Administrator to support a busy Public Sector department in Southampton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing papers and files for court
  • Collection of financial impositions imposed by the court
  • Post opening and dispatch
  • Standard letters and correspondence, notes, reports, submissions etc, according to guidelines and instructions
  • Processing casework
  • Use of Excel and trackers
  • Ensuring compliance and administration documentation meet quality standards
  • Telephone calls
  • Ad hoc admin - photocopying, scanning, filing
  • Clerking - face to face customer service

What We Are Looking For:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office - especially Excel
  • A flexible and reliable approach to work
  • Strong attention to detail and good with numbers

Important: This role requires a DBS check and three years of references.
