Employee Relations and Wellbeing Advisor
Location: Sevenoaks
Salary: Β£35,500 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week, Hybrid working available (minimum 2 days in the Sevenoaks office) with equipment provided for home working

If you are someone who brings calm, practical support to complex situations, this is your chance to make a real difference-helping managers handle employee relations and wellbeing matters fairly, lawfully, and in line with organisational values.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide expert, risk-aware support to managers and colleagues on employee relations (ER) and wellbeing concerns
  • Manage a caseload of ER matters end-to-end-logging queries, creating case files and escalating when appropriate
  • Monitor sickness and carry out sickness reviews, working closely with Occupational Health
  • Support managers with complex sickness absence and health-related capability conversations
  • Help resolve conflict by facilitating difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism
  • Collaborate across the People Team, supporting Strategic People Partners where needed-particularly in areas such as bids, TUPE and redundancy
  • Gather and use ER data to support insight, consistency and continuous improvement

What you will bring:

  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience in a people operations team)
  • Strong confidence with HR information and case management systems, alongside Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Excellent working relationships skills-able to collaborate confidently and also work independently
  • Solid understanding of English and Maths at Level 2
  • A proactive, fair-minded approach to managing risk and ensuring consistency

  • Permanent role, 37 hours per week
  • Salary: up to Β£35,500 per annum
