Senior Children\’s Residential Support Worker (EBD/LD)

Location: GL10 Stonehouse

Salary: Β£32,000 per annum (includes 5 contractual sleep-ins per month)

Overtime: Β£16.67 per hour (inclusive of annual leave)

Hours: Average 37.5 hours per week (163 hours per month)

About the Role

Join a dedicated team at Ofsted-rated Good and Outstanding Children\’s Homes, where you\\\’ll help create a stable, therapeutic environment for young people to thrive.

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will:

  • Lead a small team of Residential Support Workers
  • Case manage key children, including care plans, risk assessments, and multi-agency meetings
  • Oversee daily operations, manage shifts, delegate tasks, and support new starters
  • Report directly to the Deputy and Registered Managers

What We\\\’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Residential Children\\\’s Care or Supported Living
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Confident leadership with a nurturing, playful approach to care
  • Strong resilience, safeguarding knowledge, and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK manual driving licence with fewer than 6 points (company vehicles provided)

Desirable:

  • Supervisory or team leader experience
  • Experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD, or trauma-related needs
